Non-Profit Status
Mandala Children's House, Inc. is a §501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation.

Tuition Is Figured Yearly
Tuition is figured on a yearly basis, over a 10 month school year. It is divided into 10 equal monthly installments. The monthly installments do not reflect the number of days attended in a given month. Our operating budget includes periodic holidays, staff in-service days, and anticipated child absences. Tuition is non-adjustable. In no case can credits or rebates be given, as Mandala has limited enrollment and fixed costs.

Second Child Family Discount
Families with a second child receive a discount of 5%, deducted monthly from their family tuition.

Payments

  • Registration Fee:
    This is a non-refundable yearly fee (per family) paid at the time of registration.
  • Activity Fee:
    This is a non-refundable yearly, per-family fee paid for school year activities. It must accompany the registration form.
  • Tuition:
    Tuition may be paid in one of two ways:
    1. You may pay the full yearly tuition amount on August 1st by check directly to Mandala Children’s House.
    2. You may pay your monthly installment through FACTS Tuition Management Program. At the time of registration, you will complete the Automatic Tuition Payment Agreement with FACTS. Your payment will be taken directly from your bank account on the day you choose in the Agreement. If the money is not available in your account, a returned payment fee will be charged by FACTS and FACTS will make a second attempt.
    • Note: Summer school tuition is paid directly to Mandala. We do not use the FACTS Tuition Management Program in the summer.
  • Delinquent Accounts
    With ongoing delinquent accounts, a family may be asked to withdraw from the school until the account is paid. As a last resort, it is our policy to use a collection agency for unpaid accounts. Parents are liable for reasonable attorney fees and collection costs in the event of a default.
  • Questions or Concerns?
    Our Office Manager handles all payments and accounts, including FACTS. Contact her if you have any problems. She will try to work with you, should any difficulties arise.

Notification of Withdrawal
Parents must give Mandala 30 days notice if they plan to withdraw their child from the school. Notification must be given to the Office and to the Teachers. Written notification is recommended. Tuition is payable for 30 days following notification of withdrawal.
